My s9plus (exynos 9810 mali g72 mp18) and a friend's huawei p40 (kirin 990 mali g76 mc16) perform the same on citra, which kinda makes you think. In benchmarks there is a pretty substantial difference, difference that doesn't translate onto emulation performance.

I had Ocarina of Time 3D running at full speed yesterday. However, after booting it up again today, I noticed that everything was capped at 50% speed. I tried a different game, and the results were the same - everything would reach 50% speed and stay there without any real fluctuation.

for Citra MMJ, you can do the following for a very large performance boost: use a text editor app (I would suggest OldSchool Editor, which is what I use). open the .imi config file for Citra MMJ (it should be in a folder labeled "Citra-emu", and in another folder labeled "config" that's within the Citra-emu folder).
